Farmland Assets is involved in pursuing responsible cultivation and exportation of industrial hemp. We will offer security tokens
to fund the purchase of prime agricultural land and physical assets necessary to support the planting and harvesting of industrial grade hemp plants.

Industrial hemp has been grown in the United States since our forefathers founded the country. The first drafts of the Declaration of Independence were written on paper made from hemp.

The federal 2014 Farm Bill re-defined industrial hemp as distinctly different from marijuana and authorized institutions of higher education or state’s department of agriculture in states that legalized hemp cultivation to regulate and conduct research and pilot programs.

The federal 2018 Farm Bill went several steps further and legalized production of industrial hemp as an agricultural commodity, while removing it from the list of controlled substances.

THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF INDUSTRIAL CBD

The 2018 Farm Bill also listed industrial hemp as a covered commodity under crop insurance and directed the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation board to streamline the process of developing industrial hemp policies.

Removing industrial hemp from the Controlled Substance Act will also have immediate impact and create a financial domino effect. Banks will gain confidence and provide more robust financial products to industrial hemp related companies. Ultimately, mass-market retailers will begin to carry hemp-CBD brands. To date, the mass-market retail channel for hemp-derived CBD has seen less than $1million in hemp-CBD sales. SCHC is already talking to retail distributors who have existing mass-market retail relationships to use SCHC wholesale hemp products.

Hemp-based products are expected to grow at a 14.4% compound annual growth rate for the next five years. The market revenues are estimated to be $1.9 billion by 2022.

THE MAIN HARVESTABLE COMPONENTS OF HEMP

1. Fiber from stalks.

2. Grain for human food.

3. Floral Material for extraction of plant resin.

4. Seeds for planting hemp.

Over a hundred modern day consumption markets are available from individual hemp plants (stalk, seed, floral) to the land owner and grower. Popular industrial grade hemp products include consumer textiles, industrial textiles, agro-fiber composites, brake/clutch linings, paper products, fiber board, hempcrete building blocks, solvents, lubricants, coatings, putty, animal bedding, personal hygiene products, food supplements, and the explosive growth of CBD oils, isolates, and their pain-reducing derivatives.
